Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!

Before we jump into our study, let's take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:

Movement towards Each Other
Movement towards God
Movement towards our Community

Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.

We are all hardwired to worship. The problem is that we worship other things than a holy, righteous God.  As believers, we are commanded to give praise to God. Often times our background, experience, personality, and preferences have restrained our expression of worship. This series will encourage us to unashamedly UNLEASH our praise to a worthy God!

Last Week:
What is one way you can worship God this week when you are not in church?

Two Weeks Ago:

Key Verse:
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;” Luke 17:15

Movement Towards Each Other (know the people in your group)
What is the most expensive thing you bought as a kid?

Movement Towards God (grow in your relationship with God)
Does a child view $100 the same way an adult views $100? Explain
What causes an adult to place more value on a $100 than a child?
Read 1 Peter 2:9-10
What do you think the word sacrifice means to God?
What value does God place on you?
What does that mean to you?
How aware are you of your value to God when you are worshiping Him?
If you were given a $100, how would you spend it?
If you were told if you wait sixty days to spend it, you will get another $10, would you wait? $100? $1000?
At what point is it worth the sacrifice to wait?
What does the word sacrifice mean to you?
What is something you willingly would/do sacrifice for? Why?
Have you ever sacrificed for something only to be disappointed when you were done?
Did that cause you to never want to sacrifice for something again? Explain
Read Hebrews 13:15; Habakkuk 3:17-19
Have you ever seen worship as a sacrifice?
How self aware are you of others when you worship?
How does that influence how you worship God?
In what ways can worship be a sacrifice?
Is it difficult to praise God when things are not going well? Explain
Why is it important that we worship God no matter what circumstances we are facing?

Movement Towards Community (they see the change in you)
The next time you worship corporately, thank God for the sacrifice He made for you. Let that be your guide, not the people around you, as you worship Him.
