Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!

Before we jump into our study, let's take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:

Movement towards Each Other
Movement towards God
Movement towards our Community

Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.

The book of Colossians is the richest New Testament book that describes the supremacy of Jesus Christ. Once Paul lays the foundation, the book concludes with how followers are to live their life upon this foundation.

Last Week:
Ask God to give you an opportunity this week to share with someone who doesn’t know about Him

Two Weeks Ago:
Greet every person you see this week with a name tag by name. Thank them for the work they are doing. Let us know their reaction when we come back together.

Key Verse:

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” Colossians 1:19–20

Movement Towards Each Other (know the people in your group)
How do you like your steak cooked?

Movement Towards God (grow in your relationship with God)
Other than your life/life of someone else, what is something that you currently have that if you lost it, you would be devastated?
Have you ever lost something really important/valuable?
Did you ever find it? If not, how did you get past it?
Read Genesis 3:1-7
Why did God create mankind?
What was lost that day?
How do you think God felt in that moment?
Read Ephesians 1:7-10; Colossians 1:19-22
Why did Jesus come to earth?
How does that demonstrate how God feels about us?
How do those verses answer how God could send someone to hell?
Read James 1:13-16; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 1:18-22
Quote from CS Lewis: “There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it.
Do you believe that?
Who makes us sin?
Will anyone be able to stand before God and say “I didn’t have a chance to accept you?”.
Does man send himself to hell by rejecting God?
Does God want people to go to hell?
How do you know that?
Read John 3:16-17
Do you know for sure where you will spend eternity?
Is there someone in your life that would answer that differently?
How can God use you to point them to Him?

Movement Towards Community (they see the change in you)
Who are you praying for that they would come to know God? What steps can you personally take to tell them about Him?

Easter is a few weeks away. Who are you praying for to invite to church?
