Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!

Before we jump into our study, let's take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:

Movement towards Each Other
Movement towards God
Movement towards our Community

Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

Movement Towards Each Other (know the people in your group)
Where were you born?

Movement Towards God (grow in your relationship with God)
What is the worst nickname you ever heard when you were in school?
How did the person feel who had that moniker given to him or her?
Have you ever been made fun of your appearance?
If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be?
How does society shape how we feel about ourselves?
What is the difference between self improvement and dissatisfaction with who we are?
Read Psalm 139:13-14
How did God make you?
When you read this passage, does it say anything about Him messing up?
What does it mean for you to be “fearfully and wonderfully made”?
Has there ever been or will there ever be someone like you?
How are you unique?
Why is it hard to answer that question?
When is the last time you thanked God for the way He made you?
Why is it easier for us to see the bad things/stuff we want to change about us than to appreciate our uniqueness?
How does this passage speak to some of the lies we have been told about who we are?
Read Psalm 139:15-16; Ephesians 2:10
What does it mean to be God’s workmanship?
How much effort did God put into you?
How does that make you feel?
Why do you think that God, with so many options, fashioned you exactly the way He did?
Is it safe to say that you should only compare yourself to a standard of “one” and not to someone else?
How can you appreciate this week something about the way the God made you?
How does this passage impact how you see yourself and how you see others?

Movement Towards Community (they see the change in you)
Read Psalm 139:14 every day. Write it down and put it somewhere where you can see it. Take some time and thank God about something unique about yourself.

Food Truck Sunday is a few weeks away. Who are you praying for to invite to church?
