Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!
Before we jump into our study, let's take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:
- Movement towards Each Other
- Movement towards God
- Movement towards our Community
Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.
CURRENT SERIES: Fixer Upper Life
Do your relationships need a remodel? Or maybe just some TLC? This series will take HGTV Fixer Upper look at dating, marriage, parenting, sex, and more. With God’s guidance, some hard work, and a whole lot of grace, your life can be built to last.
Read Psalm 139:14 every day. Write it down and put it somewhere where you can see it. Take some time and thank God about something unique about yourself.
Two Weeks Ago:
If you are married - write your spouse a note and thank them for the gift of intimacy in your relationship
If you are single/dating - make a list of the benefits of waiting for sex until marriage

Movement Towards Each Other (know the people in your group)
How many different places have you lived?
Movement Towards God (grow in your relationship with God)
What is your favorite thing about where you currently live?
What is one room/area that “company” is not allowed to see?
If you could redecorate one space where you live, where would it be?
What is it about that space that bothers you?
Have you ever lived with a cluttered space?
in what room are you most likely to allow clutter to exist?
Read Genesis 1:26-27 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
What was God’s original design for mankind?
What does it mean for someone to be a “new creation"?
How does that change impact others around them?
If they are “new”, what is the appeal for the “old”?
Read Colossians 3:5-9; Ephesians 5:3-4; 1 Peter 2:1
Why do followers of Jesus allow things in their lives that are really bad for them?
Would you say that Christians are offended by sexual sins but are comfortable with other sins? Why?
How does that stuff clutter up our lives?
Read 2 Corinthians 5:17; Isaiah 43:18-19; Colossians 3:12-14
Why is it easier to get into sin but harder to get out but harder to embrace what is right but easier once you keep doing it?
What would churches in America be like if followers of Jesus embraced Colossians 3:12-14
How about their social media accounts?
Of the things on that list, which do you find most difficult and which is most beneficial?
What would your world look like if you embraced that list, all of it?
What would be a good “first step” for you?
Movement Towards Community (they see the change in you)
Memorize Colossians 3:12-14. Pick one thing of the list each week and redecorate your life.
