Middle School Camp FAQS
June 25-28, 2018
Student drop off @ GracePoint at 12:30pm on Monday, June 25th. Parents/Guardians will need to check students in at this time. Bus will leave for camp promptly at 1:30pm. Please eat lunch before you arrive.
Student pick up @ GracePoint at Noon on Thursday, June 28th.
Ages: Incoming 6th graders - incoming 8th graders. Eighth grade graduates will attend high school camp in July.

Cost: Early bird $215.00 (March 05-April 20)
Regular $230.00 (April 21-June 10)
Late-comer is $245.00 (June 10-20)

Medical: Medications must be turned into our camp nurse and will be administered by her at camp. Please bring them labeled and in their original containers.
You will need a doctor’s note for each medication, and we will provide forms for you to bring to your doctor.
Please drop off medications at GracePoint at12:00PM on Monday, June 25th and speak with the camp nurse at that time.
Emergency Contact: Pastor Tj can be contacted at 503-729-2335. Please know that reception will be spotty at camp. Call the campground office for emergency purposes as well.
Packing: Please LABEL all items with SHARPIE PEN and duct tape…
-Sleeping bag and pillow -Toiletries -Towel(s) -Swimsuit (no bikinis/no speedos) -Swim Shirt -Lifejacket (if you have one) -Changes of clothes (for warm days and cool nights) -Sunscreen -Flashlight -Tennis Shoes -Sandals or water shoes -Bible and journal -Water Bottle -$5-10 Spending money
*Any medications must be labeled, in original containers, and handed in to the camp nurse before we leave.
Please DON'T bring the following items: -Any weapon or anything that produces a flame -Energy drinks or snacks -Extra electronic items (gaming/music devices). You can bring your phone though you won’t have access to it throughout the day. You’ll have a 30 minute window of time to use it each evening.
Activities: Students will stay in dorm-style rooms with a group of peers of the same gender. They can request who they'd like to room with. Activities include outdoor games (mini golf, human foosball, disc golf, gaga ball, archery), sports, crafts, board games, canoeing, swimming, the Blob, fishing (license required), boating/tubing, chapel, and small groups. 3 meals a day and snacks will be provided by the Black Lake kitchen staff.
